Background on Scholarship

Sharemoney supports the vision of foreign immigrants moving to the US to build better lives for themselves and their families. The work and educational opportunities in this country are often not available in other parts of the world and we understand the effort required to realize these dreams.

For that reason Sharemoney is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship for students embarking on this journey.

Eligibility Requirements

Enrollment:

The Sharemoney Immigrant Support Scholarship is open to first and second generation immigrants enrolled or in the process of enrolling in an undergraduate degree program at Rutgers University. Enrollment must occur by September 1, 2021.

Application:

Each applicant must submit basic profile information including name, address, academic history, resume, and university or institute of attendance as of September 1, 2021. Semi-finalists will be required to submit an essay of 1,000 words or fewer on the following:

Sharemoney is proud to support immigrant communities throughout the United States with our financial services geared towards those trying to make a better life for their families and loved ones. We are also proud to support the students of immigrant families as they pursue higher education and opportunities to advance in their chosen career fields. We also recognize the unique burdens that are often placed on women who are working towards college degrees.

To that end, Sharemoney is proud to offer a $4,000 scholarship to one (1) female, first- or second-generation immigrant applicant who is pursuing higher education.

Eligibility Requirements

The Sharemoney Women First Scholarship is open to first and second generation female immigrants enrolled or in the process of enrolling in an undergraduate degree program at any university in the United States. Enrollment must occur by September 1, 2021.

We are also proud to support students around the world as they pursue higher education and opportunities to advance in their chosen career fields. The Sharemoney Rising Stars Scholarship is awarded to students who are applying to or are currently enrolled at an institution of higher learning in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Nigeria, or the Philippines.

To that end, Sharemoney is proud to offer a $500 scholarship to five (5) applicants who are pursuing higher education in the nations of Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Nigeria, or the Philippines.

Eligibility Requirements

Enrollment:

The Sharemoney Rising Stars Scholarship is open to any student enrolled or in the process of enrolling in an undergraduate program at a university located in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Nigeria, or the Philippines. Enrollment must occur by September 1, 2021.
