Yes, we accept debit cards as payments. This is usually the cheapest and fastest way to send your money to Colombia.
Can I pay for my money transfer to Colombia with my credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Please note, some banks may charge you an additional ""cash advance"" fee if you use your credit card for international money transfers. This fee is NOT chanrged by Sharemoney. We recommend you check with your bank to see if they will charge additional fees if you use your credit card on Sharemoney. To avoid this potential fee, please use your debit card or bank account to pay.
How will my recipient in Colombia receive the money?
Your beneficiary in Colombia has the option of receiving the funds at a Cash Pickup location of your choice, or deposited directly into their personal bank account. You will be able to select either option when you are filling out your money transfer information.

What does my recipient need to know in order to receive the funds I sent them?
We recommend giving your Money Transfer Number (MTN, found on the receipt) to your beneficiary so they can reference it when pickup up funds. In addition, some payout agents may require that your recipient shows their photo ID when picking up cash.
Can I send $1,000,000 to Colombia through Sharemoney?
Not at this time. Our mission is to assist people living and working in the United States who want to help their family, friends, and business partners in Colombia. As of now, you can send up to $2,999.99 every 14 days, and up to $9999.99 every 180 days. Additional laws and state regulations may apply depending on the amounts you transfer or the state you live in.
