Is Sharemoney regulated?

Sharemoney is regulated directly by the federal government as well as by a variety of U.S. state governments and agencies. We comply with all laws that are applicable, and we obtain licensing or secure exemptions as required in each state we operate.

Is there a money-back guarantee with Sharemoney?

There is. If for some reason we cannot complete your transfer, we will refund it in full. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to go through. If you have any additional requests or questions, feel free to contact us directly by phone or email, or consult with the Sharemoney User Agreement.

What about scam protection?

Sharemoney strongly suggests you only transfer money to people you know personally. Unfortunately, internet scammers use money transfer companies as a thoroughfare for obtaining money maliciously. Although Sharemoney has a team dedicated to watching for and shutting down scams and fraudulent transactions, we recommend that you practice due diligence. We persuade our users not to send money to anyone you have not personally met. Scammers may try to manipulate users into sending money, promising higher returns in the future, but these deals are almost always not legitimate.

What can I do if I think my account has been compromised?

If you believe that your account has been compromised in some way (you’ve been the victim of fraud, or your username/password has been lost or stolen), please contact us immediately at security@sharemoney.com. Account issues may also include other users using Sharemoney services inappropriately, or receiving fake, phishing emails purporting to be Sharemoney. If you encounter any “mirrored” or illegitimate Sharemoney sites, please contact us.
